







The State Administration Council has issued announcements on the areas affected by Cyclone Mocha as natural disaster areas under Section 11 of the Disaster Management Law and assigned senior military officers to carry out restoration work in the areas of these announcements.
On 27th of June, Lt-Gen Lu Aye from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), together with the officials, visited the patron Sayadaw of the Nagar PariyattiMonestary in Kyaukphyu, who has recovered from illness and donated cash and offertories. There, he inspected the cleaning of garbage dump in Ceditaung Ward by the staffs of the Township Development Affairs Committee and the local residents and coordinated the needs.
And then, he observed and encouraged the process of salt production from the Kyan Tai Aung Salt Mill, which is one of the MSMEs in Nga La Pwae Ward. Likewise, Lt-Gen Aye Win from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief who has arrived in Buthitaung Township, together with responsible officials, viewed the local Medical Team giving the medical treatment to the local residents at the Gandamar Village.
Lt-Gen Aye Win provided rice and foodstuffs to the local residents. And then, he inspected the diging up the drainage at No. (3) Ward. Similarly, General SoeNaingOo attended the coordination meeting for monsoon paddy plantation and livestock breeding sectors at the Thandwe township administration office. In Rathaedaung Township, General Aung MyoTun paid homage and donated cash and offertories to the presiding AlotawPyae monastery Sayadaw.
Similarly, Major-General KhinZaw donated cash and offertories to the nunneries of the Minbyar Township. In Maungtaw Township, Major-General Tint Swe attended the monsoon tree plantation ceremony at MyothitGyi village. He also visited the MyomaTaung Ward where he observed giving the medical treatment to older people and local residents. He provided the foodstuffs to the local residents.
