Efforts For Regional Development: SAC Members Meet With Chin State Cabinet Members

Members of the State Administration Council (SAC) Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo and U Moung Har on Sunday evening met with Chin State cabinet members and district and township-level departmental personnel.

At this meeting in Hakha, the Union Minister stressed the State Administration Council’s 5-point roadmap and 9 objectives for the development of the country and called for cooperation. Also, the SAC Member U Moung Har gave a speech.

The meeting continued with reports on implementation of development works in Chin State including bridges and roads construction and maintenance as well as issuance of National Registration cards, agricultural sector and the need for more electricity access and education and healthcare services.

Regarding the agricultural sector, the Union Minister stressed the need to expand farmland areas, to use good quality strains and to help the irrigation system.
