Efforts for Rakhine State: Meeting on stability, peace and development

The main work unit of the Rakhine State Stability, Peace and Development Work Coordination Committee held a meeting on Wednesday afternoon at the Ministry of Border Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

This meeting was attended by Chairman of the Committee Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, vice chairpersons Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing and Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khaing and members of the Committee.

It was also joined online by Vice chairman of the Committee Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and minister for security and border affairs.

In the meeting, Chairman of the Committee explained the work committees processes to verify and accept those displaced from Rakhine State quickly and resettle them.

And, officials from the work committees and the minister for security and border affairs discussed arrangements and requirements. Then, Chairman and vice chairpersons of the Committee coordinated the discussions.
