Efforts for Public: Meeting on Public Rental Housing Construction

The Leading Committee on the Public Rental Housing Construction held its 13th meeting on Thursday afternoon. In the meeting at the Ministry of Construction, Chairman of the Committee Union Minister U Shwe Lay urged the 3 concerned associations to complete the rest construction process with quality construction in accordance with the contract as construction of the 5,008 out of the 10,000 rooms was 100 % completed in Nay Pyi Taw, 69 % in Yangon and 95 % in Mandalay.
He also called on concerned officials from the associations to carry out security measures before handing over the rooms. Accommodation plans for the government employees and the public in the housings that have been completed will be presented to the State Administration Council and will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines.
Attendees reported on completed and ongoing construction processes, plans, budget, management, hand-over process, maintenance plan, quality issue, water and electricity access and transportation and security matters.
