Efforts For Education: Union Minister Inspects University And Schools

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe on Wednesday evening visited the Pathein University and met with concerned officials at the convocation hall.

There, the Union Minister pledged to provide cash assistance for libraries in the University, water purifiers, research aid and wifi. Also, Deputy Minister Dr. Zaw Myint urged the officials to apply effective teaching method.

This meeting continued with explanation on scholarship and reports on respective departments of the University. Before visiting the Pathein University, the Union Minister visited the No.1 Basic Education High School in Mingaladon Township of Yangon Region and basic education high schools in Nyaungdon Township and 1 basic education high school in Kyaungkon Township of Ayeyawaddy Region, inspected repair and maintenance works and provided necessary assistance.
