


The prize awarding ceremony for the outstanding 2022-2023 academic year students and educational grants provision ceremony for the school-age children of the staff families of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture for 2023-2024 academic year was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry on Monday.
In his opening speech, Union Minister U Ko Ko said that the development of the country depends on the educated people. If people are not well-educated, it can lead to loss of critical thinking skills by themselves and losses for the country.
And, he urged all to study and pursue knowledge continuously not to fall into the tricks of the terrorists. And, the Union Minister presented certificates of honor and cash awards to 1 student with five distinctions, 2 students with four distinctions and 3 students with three distinctions for 2022-2023 matriculation examination and the Deputy Minister Daw Nu Mra Zan to 2 students with two distinctions and 2 students with one distinction.
Also, Director General of the Department of Religious Affairs presented cash award to 30 matriculation exam passers. And, the director generals and concerned officials provided educational grants to 1,985 school-age children of the staff of the Ministry for 2023-2024 academic year.
