
A workshop on evidence-based research findings for educational development was held at the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw.
In this event, Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein stressed that evidence-based research findings are highly necessary for the development of education. She highlighted the need to understand and further promote the importance of research-based decisions and to actively use research findings in departmental policies and procedures.
She also mentioned that today's workshop would strengthen cooperation among departments, allow for the sharing of findings, and provide valuable suggestions. Following this, discussions were held under the titles research results on “Basic Education Schools Integrating Industrial, Agricultural, and Livestock Subjects", "Implementation of the New Curriculum at the Basic Education High School Level", "Teaching of Myanmar Language, Myanmar History, and Myanmar Geography in Private Basic Education Schools" and "Causes of the Decrease in the Transition Rate of Students in Basic Education Schools".
