Efforts for education development: SAC members met with teachers and students in Shan State

The member of State Administration Council Dr. Kyaw Tun together with the Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, state government ministers met with the teachers, township elders and students at Taungoo Hall of Pin Phyit Village Basic Education High School, Yat Sauk Township, Taunggyi District in the morning on 25th May.

At the meeting, the SAC member Dr. Kyaw Tun urged to cooperate by the parents, teachers and students to complete the study Grade-9 as in the guidance of the Chairman of State Administration as the rate of school enrolment is less. The parents should be informed the free distribution of ball point pen, pencil, exercise books, textbooks and school uniform to all students across the country according to the guidance of the head of state. The collective effort is needed for the school enrolment of all school age children.

Next, the Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye gave a remark to conduct school enrolment across the Shan State and the collaboration of the community elders and administrators is needed to enroll the new students.

Then, the Pin Phyit Village high school principal Daw Myo Myo Thant clarified regarding with the school, school committee member U Aung Yin, community elder U Thein Zaw and the village administrator reported the requirements for the school and the village. The SAC member supplemented for the school and the regional requirements.

Afterward, the SAC member Dr. Kyaw Tun and the Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye provided 5 lacks of Kyats each and the school principal and the school committee member accepted the cash assistances, the SAC members gave a speech of conclusion and cordially greeted the teachers and the students.

Later, the SAC member and Chief Minister met with the teachers, community elders and students at Pale Hall of No (2) Basic Education High School, Nyaung Shwe Township at 1 PM. The SAC member said the last week of the May, 2023 is designated as the school enrolment week, the cooperation of the parents and the teachers is needed for all school age children to enroll in the school, the multiplier courses are being given for the improvement of the education and the government is carrying out to create the job opportunity.

The Chief Minister urged the ward/village administrators and teachers to carry out if there are children needed to enroll in the school and offered to report to the Shan State Government if there are some difficulties.

Then, the school principal reported matters regarding with the school and the school committee member and the school principals from the primary school and sub basic education high school reported requirements and the SAC member Dr. Kyaw Tun replied regarding with the reports. The SAC member and Chief Minister provided five lacks each for the school, and the school principal and the school committee member accepted the cash assistances, the SAC members gave a speech of conclusion and cordially greeted the teachers and the students.

At the Pale Hall of Shwe Yan Pyay Middle School in Nyaung Shwe Township, the SAC member and Chief Minister also met with the teachers, community elders and students, gave remarks, provided five lacks each for the school, and the school principal and the school committee member accepted the cash assistances, the SAC members gave a speech of conclusion.
