Efforts for Development: Union Minister receives Nippon Foundation President

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung received Nippon Foundation President Mr. Sasakawa in Nay Pyi Taw.

This meeting focused on issues related to development of border areas and human resources, multi-regional development projects in Mon and Kayin states, and Peace and Development Project in Kayah and Shan states, which were jointly conducted between the Ministry of Border Affairs and the Nippon Foundation, signing a new MoU to boost cooperation in these projects, leadership training, vocational training projects, completion of the school construction project in Rakhine State and further cooperation.
