Effort for Youths :Youth Campaign organizes in Nay Pyi Taw Pobbathiri Township

For the development of physical and mental strength of youths, Educative Talks, exhibition and competitions were held at the No. 3 Basic Education High School in Pobbathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday. It was organized by the Information and Public Relations Department in collaboration with the Department of Basic Education.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, member of the Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee, Township/District level departmental officials and many other concerned officials. During the opening remarks of the Deputy Minister, students and youths were urged to make collective efforts for the development of the nation and implementing peace and stability of the country.

Currently, the government is emphasizing on all round education system and literary projects for increasing of literate citizens including local ethnic people and peoples from rural areas, he added. Additionally, he called for youths to preserve traditions and cultural heritage of the country. During the ceremony, books and periodicals were donated for the school library.

Afterwards, the ceremony continued with educative talk, followed by the performance programme. The ceremony then continued with varieties of program including photo gallery of the landmarks of Myanmar, displays of educative books and periodicals, as well as game programmes where the winners were presented with gifts.
