Education Sector: Union Minister visits education facilities in Myitkyina

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe visited Myitkyina Education Degree College on Sunday and met with the principal, teachers and trainees.

In his speech, the Union Minister said basic education sector is the most important basic foundation for development of the state, and he urged all to strive for becoming the outstanding teachers in serving their duties.

The Union Minister later responded to the queries raised by the teachers and trainees and fulfilled the requirements of the school. The Union Minister later visited No.1, No.3 and No.4 Basic Education High Schools in Myitkyina, and inspected the construction works, renovation of school buildings and the conditions of classrooms and newly constructed buildings. He also met with the teachers and fulfilled the requirements.
