Education Sector: Union Minister inspects Sittwe University and schools

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe together with Deputy Minister and departmental officials inspected the Sittwe University on Tuesday. They inspected repair processes of buildings damaged by the Cyclone MOCHA and gave necessary assistances.

There, they also met with teachers and students, and gave words of encouragement. During the meeting, the Union Minister said every developing country invests in education sector, and with the guidance of Chairman of the State Administration Council, it need to make efforts to promote the education sector to develop the country in future, students need to pay attention and strive to learn to get high education.

The Union Minister also discussed matters on education system and gave necessary assistances. Also, the Union Minister visited No.(1) Basic Education Sub-High School, No.(1) and (2) Basic Education High Schools in SetYoneSu Ward and gave necessary assistances.

The Union Minister also visited the Basic Education Sub-High School and No.(5) Basic Education High School in MaGyiMyaing Village and provided cash assistance to teachers and students, and gave necessary assistances.
