Education Sector: Providing Cash Assistance and Teaching Aids

A ceremony of proving cash assistance, school uniforms and stationaries was held on 24th May at Tawwin Hanthar Meeting Hall of Bago Region Government office with the attendance of Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win.

In his speech, the Chief Minister highlighted the important role of nurturing youths to become educated persons and qualified citizens for the nation. As the sustainable development of the economy, social and other sectors depend on the development of the human resources, everyone is encouraged to take care of their offspring for the future.

The region government will also continue support the service personnel to be able to acquire the higher education, he added. Then, the Chief Minister provided the cash assistance and teaching aids to the university students and the officials provided cash assistance and teaching aids to the basic education students respectively and a parent expressed words of thanks.
