Education Sector: New 3-storey building opened at Yenanchaung University

To commemorate the 76th Independence Day which will fall on the 4th of January 2024, the Yenanchaung University opened a new 3-storey building. Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and many other officials attended this building opening ceremony and inspected the building and class rooms.

It’s reported that the new building of the university which has a capacity of 960 students was constructed with state budget of 866.628 million Kyats. Also, at the University, the Chief Minister attended the essay, poem and impromptu (Myanmar/English) competition in commemoration of the 76th Independence Day.

In his speech, the Chief Minister stressed that the development of a country depends a lot on the health and fitness of citizens and the development of education. Today, every country in the world is building and managing health and education of its citizens.

He also urged students to create a modern and developed country. And, the Chief Minister and officials presented awards to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners in the essay, poem and impromptu (Myanmar/English) competition.
