Education Sector: Mudon Township honors top matriculation students and schools

A ceremony to honor the outstanding students who excelled in the 2024 matriculation exams took place in Mudon Township, Mon State, on Saturday.

Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein stated that the government is implementing the education reform process through the National Education Strategic Plan. He emphasized the need for cooperative efforts from students, parents, teachers, and officials to ensure a conducive learning environment for students.

The ceremony included the presentation of awards to students who passed the exams with distinctions. Additionally, the top twelve schools were recognized with honorary awards. Mudon Township achieved a passing rate of over 64% in the 2024 matriculation exams, ranking second in Mon State.
