Education Sector: MOE Union Minister meets with the educators

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe presided over a meeting with the rectors, principals of the Education Degree Colleges and region and state education officers at the Ministry on 11th September.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister Dr. Moe Zaw Tun, Directors General and Deputy Permanent Secretaries. During the meeting, the Union Minister expressed words of appreciation for the faculty members who fulfilled their duties.

The Union Minister also stressed the systematic preparations for the upoming 2023-2024 Universities and Degree Colleges Final examinations, the participation of the Universities and Degree Colleges in the 24th Arts and Science Research Conference as well as conducting teacher trainings in order to spread legal awareness among Grade 11 and 12 students.

He also called for the exerted efforts of the faculty members in fulfilling their respective reponsibilities. Next, the Deputy Minister urged the education personnel to be aware of the current weather conditions and to conduct systematic dengue fever preventive measures at the schools.

Next, the Directors-General of the Department of Higher Education and the Department of Basic Educaaion clarified the work implementations. The meeting was concluded with the closing remarks of the Union Minister.
