Education Sector: Fresher welcome &victory flag presentation ceremonies

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye attended fresher welcome ceremony and victory flag presentation ceremony at the Taunggyi Education Degree College.

The fresher welcome event was also for students from the Loikaw Education Degree College.The ceremonies began with a stage performance and the Chief Minister stressed that the government aims to train and produce quality teachers for the basic education of the country.

He also praised the Taunggyi Education Degree College for its success in sports sector. Also, the Chief Minister urged teachers to train the new generation to obtain good working skills through course practice. He also urged students to try hard to become all-round excellent teachers for the country.

And, the Chief Minister presented the victory flag to the Taunggyi Education Degree College to achieve success in central-level sports competition and cash assistance for the Taunggyi and Loikaw Education Degree colleges. And, principal of the Taunggyi Education Degree College presented honourary gifts to athletes.
