Education Promotion: MOE Union Minister visits Kazan

A delegation led by Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe who are currently in Kazan of Russia Federation observed Old Tatar Sloboda on 9th June.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister joined the Business Lunch hosted by Mr. Sergey Sergeevich Kravstov, Education Minister of the Russia Federation, at IT Park.

During the Business Lunch, the education ministers and representatives from respective countries shared and exchanged their experiences, results of cooperation and opinions.

Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe also said that the title “Shaping the Future” is a warning that education plays a vital role for the human society and the world.

One of the social affairs in Myanmar is promoting the multiple education systems in order to produce the necessary human resources for building a modern developed democratic nation.

Myanmar is implementing the policy for all school-age children to complete the KG+9 education. Those who completed the KG+9 education can join the High Schools for Technical, Agriculture and Livestock, being conducted in 50 districts as a vocation training courses.

The Union Minister added that Myanmar would like to promote the cooperation between Myanmar and partner universities and, urged the education ministers to cooperate more to implement the better future for the learners.
