Education Conference 2024: Union ministers visit paper reading session

Union Ministers Dr. Charlie Than and Dr. Nyunt Pe as well as many other concerned officials visited the 2nd of the Myanmar Education Conference 2024 at the Myanmar International Convention Centre-II in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

During the visit, they oversaw the booths displayed by ministries. At the paper reading session, Union Ministers and Deputy Ministers made suggestions.

And, discussions were made for matters including ‘To bring out young people who love their country’, ‘Let's systematically cultivate the love of the youth the country to make the nation's future bright’, ‘National development and the role of basic education’, ‘Analyzing the lessons in the basic education curriculum for the emergence of young people who love the country’, ‘Strengthening the role of school library’, ‘Turning out professionals who will be important in the field of practical application’, Vocational education development’, ‘Continuous improvement of the quality of teachers’ and ‘Research and innovation development’.

This three-day event aims to ensure the success of the education sector being implemented for the youth who will eventually take on the responsibilities of the State.

The conference’s objectives include fostering patriotism among youth, producing well-educated individuals, promoting vocational education to support manufacturing, enhancing teachers’ capabilities, improving research and innovation, and strengthening the education system to guarantee quality for the youth.

This year’s conference till the 27th of June will involve discussions to review and refine educational outcomes and conditions for future generations.
