Ecuador and Spain seize drugs from narcos linked to Albanian mafia

Police in Ecuador and Spain carried out 57 raids in six provinces of Ecuador and in four Spanish cities related to alleged money laundering and drug trafficking linked to the Albanian mafia, officials said on Tuesday.

In the operation, 30 people were arrested and those arrested are Ecuadorian, Spanish, Argentine, Colombian and Chinese. According to the Ecuadorian prosecutor’s office, 2.4 tons of drugs and almost half a million euros were seized.
