Economic Promotion: State Economic Promotion Fund handed over

Shan State Government on Tuesday handed over the 8 billion Kyats from the State Economic Promotion Fund to districts and townships to disburse loans. At the State Government Office in Taunggyi, Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun said that loans will be disbursed to get the necessary financial resources and expand businesses in the state.

The Chief Minister also called on entrepreneurs to use good natural resources not only to improve local manufacturing but also try to be able to export goods abroad and earn foreign income. And, the Chief Minister and officials handed over the fund to 17 districts in the state. It’s reported that the loans to be received will be used only for agriculture, livestock and fishery sectors, cooperative business and related manufacturing, trade service, MSMEs and other businesses approved by the state government.
