Economic cooperation: Myanmar-China Trade Fair to be held in Nay Pyi Taw

Jointly organized by Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization of the Ministry of Commerce and the Lincang municipal government of Yunnan Province of the People’s Republic of China, Myanmar (Nay Pyi Taw)-China (Lincang) Trade Fair will be held at the MICC-2 in Nay Pyi Taw from 25th to 28th May.

The pre-dinner of the Trade Fair was held at the Horizon Lake View Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday. The dinner was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, other Union Ministers, the Shan State Economic Affairs Minister, Chairman of Kokang Self-Administered Zone Administration Body, deputy ministers, Lincang Mayor and departmental officials from Myanmar and China, Trade Associations and business men.

At the event, Union Minister for Commerce and officials and Lincang Mayor of Yunnan Province of China and officials signed signatures and exchanged autographs on the green tea box in commemoration of the trade expo. After that, the Union Minister for Commerce extended greetings and the Lincang Mayor gave spoke words of thanks.

During the dinner, the artistes from Myanmar and China performed dances and the Union Ministers and the Lincang Mayor presented flower baskets. About 300 traders from Myanmar and China joined the dinner and they discussed economic cooperation among each other.
