A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit about 13 miles east-northeast of Falam Township on Sunday, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.

The slight earthquake in Chin State with a depth of 22 kilometers occurred at about 8:29 a.m. Myanmar Standard Time.
