Early Childhood Care: Central Supervisory Committee held a meeting

The meeting of Central Supervisory Committee for Early Childhood Care and Development was held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in the afternoon on 28th September and was attended by the Chairman of central supervisory committee Union Minister Dr. Soe Win, Deputy Minister U Soe Kyi, permanent secretary, directors General and members of central committee.

At the meeting, the Union Minister elaborated the duties and functions of the central supervisory committee, to establish a central supervisory committee fund and spend for the necessary matters at the early childhood care and development, the financial procedures of the fund has been approved and released during April, 2023 after acquiring the remarks of the Ministry of planning and finance, Ministry of legal affairs and Union attorney General office and the Union Minister urged the attendees to take part in the discussion and suggestion for the future work processes.

Next, the secretary of central supervisory committee clarified work implementations regarding with the early childhood care and development and the work process to be carried out financial procedures related to the fund. Then, the attendees discussed regarding with day care center, pre-schools, community-based and home-based care centers to be covered to the extent of entire country.
