EAM Dr. Jaishankar to begin 3-Day official visit to Russia

At the invitation of Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar paid a three-day official visit to Russia from August 19th to 21st.

During the visit, Jaishankar will co-chair the 26th Session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation and address the India-Russia Business Forum meeting in Moscow.

Dr. Jaishankar and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov will hold meeting to review bilateral agenda and share perspectives on regional and global issues. The visit aims to further strengthen the longstanding India-Russia Strategic Partnership.
