EAEU delegation: MoALI UM received EAEU delegation

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung received a delegation led by H.E. Mr. Sergei Glazzev, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission at the Ministry in the morning on 8th April. 

At the meeting, both sides discussed the matters on direct export of fertilizers made in Russia to Myanmar and the fertilizer importing process of Myanmar, market requirements of the member countries of Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) on the rice, coffee, fruits, agricultural products and marine products of Myanmar and the negotiation between Myanmar and Russian Federation, the opportunities for investment in Myanmar for the cultivation and production of coffee and oil crops, one of Myanmar GAP products of Coffee to export to EAEU member countries, the issues on utilization of oil crops and cotton pedigree seeds, production of natural fertilizer and technical cooperation, status of technical sharing for potato high quality seeds and the technical collaboration with Yayzin Agricultural University were cordially discussed.

After that, Union Minister U Min Naung and Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mr. Sergei Glazzev exchanged memorable gifts, it’s learnt.
