E5 countries launch new 'low-cost' drone programme

Representatives of defence ministries in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Poland present a joint programme to develop "low-cost" air defence systems to respond to the growing threat posed by missiles and drones. The UK's Ministry of Defence said the programme would prioritise a "lightweight, affordable" surface-to-air weapon, with the first project to be delivered by next year.
