e-Government Development: MSWRR Holds A Meeting In Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine attended a meeting on the development of e-Government of the Ministry on Wednesday. At the meeting, the Union Minister said that if the e-Government is achieved, the services will be given effectively for the people to provide their needs.

The departments need to participate in implementing the e-Government tasks with deep interest. As the trainings conducted by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Union Civil Service Board is part of the e-Government tasks, those who completed the trainings from the Ministry needs to conduct again multiplier courses.
The e-Government Division has been formed with the right person in the right place and it is implementing for the development of e-Government tasks. By using technology, the work can be completed in a short time and it can be done quickly and safely.
Deputy Minister U Aung Tun Khine called for conducting trainings for officers and staffs, practicing to be familiar with digital equipment, network security and document security and following digital ethic. The departments reported measures for Social Management Information System (SMIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Inventary Management Software (IMS), Myanmar Disaster Alert (MDA), Electronic Document Management System(EDMS), Digital Literacy Training and Advanced Training and progress of works.
