Dy PM in Rakhine State: Dy PM visits schools, attends rehabilitation meeting

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San on Thursday visited the No. 1 and No. 4 basic education high schools in Sittwe of Rakhine State.

During the visit, the Union Minister inspected availability of school uniform provided free of charge by the state, school textbooks, pencils, pens, tables, chairs and other teaching aids as well as balance of teacher and student ratio and health activities, and provided the requirements.

He also continued his visit to basic education post primary schools and high schools and provided assistance. During the visit, the Union Minister pledged to provide any necessary assistance to education sector.

On the same day, the Union Minister attended a meeting on rehabilitation tasks in Rakhine State and called on attendees to accelerate and complete the rehabilitation tasks in a timely manner.
