Drugs Seizures:Illegal drugs worth over 2.95 billion Kyats confiscated

Illegal drugs were seized in Mandalay Region. In Chanmyathazi and Chanayethazan townships of the Region, 47 kilograms of ICE, 390 grams of heroin, over 900,0000 stimulant tablets and 2 tons of caffeine worth over 2.95 billion Kyats were confiscated. The seizures led to arrests of 3 men.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
