Drugs Seizures: Thousands of stimulant tablets, heroin seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Yangon Region and Shan State. In Hlaingthaya and North Okkalapa townships of Yangon Region and in Yatsauk and Hopang townships of Shan State, 48,000 stimulant tablets and 40 kilograms of heroin were seized. 4 men were arrested along with the seizures. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
