Drugs Seizures: Stimulant tablets, opium, marijuana, ‘Happy Water’ seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Yangon Region and in Shan State. In Thanlyin Township of Yangon Region and in Kalaw and Naungcho townships of Shan State, over 67,000 stimulant tablets, 7.2 kilograms of opium, 3.5 kilograms of marijuana and 4.5 kilograms of ‘Happy Water’ were seized.

3 men and a woman were arrested along with the seizures. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
