Drugs Seizures: Illegal drugs worth over 14 billion Kyats seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Mandalay Region. In Pyin Oo Lwin Township area of the Region, ‘ICE’, ketamine and heroin destined for Kayin State worth over 14.15 billion Kyats were seized. 8 men were arrested along with the seizures. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against those 8 suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
