Drugs Seizures: Illegal drugs worth over 10.44 billion Kyats seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Nay Pyi Taw Council area, Mandalay Region and Sagaing Region. Thousands of stimulant tablets, 8.8 kilograms of heroin and 3.2 tons of Ketamine worth over 10.44 billion Kyats were seized. The seizures led to arrests of 6 persons. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
