Drugs Seizures: Happy Water, ecstasy pills and caffeine tablets seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Yangon Region and Shan State. In Mingalartaungnyunt, Bahan and Yankin townships of Yangon Region and in Tachileik Township of Shan State, over 38 kilograms of Happy Water, 5,000 ecstasy pills and 2,200 caffeine tablets worth over 1.36 billion Kyats were seized.

The seizures led to arrests of 5 men. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
