Drugs Seizures: ‘Happy Water’ and opium seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Kachin State and Shan State. In Myitkyina and Pinlaung townships of the states, 1,025 kilograms of ‘Happy Water’ drug and 10 kilograms of opium were seized. A woman and a man were arrested along wit the seizures. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
