Drugs Seizure: Heroin, stimulant tablets worth over 1.71 billion Kyats seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Kachin State. In Myitkyina Township of the State, 740 grams of heroin and over 1.1 million stimulant tablets worth over 1.71 billion Kyats were seized.

A man was arrested along with the seizure. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspect in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
