Drugs Seizure: Drugs worth nearly 4 billion Kyats seized

ICE (methamphetamine), Stimulant tablets and Katamines worth 3.96 billion Kyats were captured in Kyaik Hto and Mingalardon Townships according to the Myanmar Police Force.

A combined forces including members of Anti-Narcotic Task Force arrested Aung Min Tun together with 3 Kilos of ICE (methamphetamine) on Yangon-Yay passenger bus at Mayanchaung combined checkpoint in Kyaik Tho Township of Mon State at 9:30 PM on 26 July.

In responding to the reveal from the investigation, Nyi Nyi Tun (a) Nyi Nyi, the accomplice in drug trafficking in his house in (Hta) Ward of North Okkalapa Township at 12 at noon on 27th July, San Lin and Tun Naing Moe together with one kilo of ICE and Honda Fit vehicle on No (3) highway in Mingalardon Township at 5 PM on the same day, 114 Kilos of ICE (methamphetamine), one million of stimulant tablets and 620 grams of Ketamine together with Aung Ko Oo in a house where Tun Naing Moe rented at 5:30 PM on the same day were seized.

The legal action was taken against the five offenders and investigation is underway to reveal the chain of offencers.
