Drugs Seized: 5.9 kilos of happy water captured in Tachileik

5.9 kilos of happy water worth more than 640 million kyats were seized in Tachileik Township of Shan State (East), according to the Myanmar Police Force.

A combined team of Anti-narcotic drugs unit seized 5.9 kilos of happy water amounted more than 640 million kyats from a TOYOTA REVO vehicle driven by Sai Won Kyauk in Hsay Kham Ward of Tachileik Township, Shan State (East) at 6:30 PM on July 6th. According to the investigation, the seized happy water were distributed to youngsters at KTV/CLUB/BAR and restaurants in Tachileik Township.

The investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
