Drugs seized: 1.5 million stimulant tablets seized in Kyaikhto

Acting on a tip-off, the combined team comprising anti-narcotic drug task force searched a HYUNDAI MINI BUS driven by Khaing Zaw Tun from Daik-U to Pha-An with Naing Zaw and Nanda Tun on board near Mayanchaung Village, Kyaikhto Township at 10 AM on 15th February and confiscated 1.5 million stimulant tablets worth 3 billion Kyats.

According to the investigation, Zaw Myo Naing (a) Danyin who made carrying the drugs was captured at his home with HYUNDAI GRACE vehicle at 4 AM on 16th February. According to the confession, it’s learnt that the stimulant tablets were carried from Shan State to Daik-U Township of Bago Region and those drugs will be carried to Kayin State. The suspects have been taken legal action under the law and the investigation is underway to reveal the chain of offenders.
