Drug Seizure:Stimulant tablets, arms and ammunitions seized

6.5 million stimulant tablets worth over 2.6 billion kyats and arms and ammunitions were seized in Mong Sat township, Shan State (East), according to the Myanmar Police Force. A combined team comprising of Anti-narcotic drug unit searched the cow breeding farm of U Ah Char in Pon Tat village of Mong Sat township, Shan State (East) on 20th February.

The police seized one gun and 100 grams of stimulant tablet powder and also arrested two culprits. According to the interrogation, the police searched the house of U Ah Char, the owner of cow farm, and confiscated 6.5 million stimulant tablets, 6 guns, 16 magazines and 27 rounds of ammunitions. Actions are taken against the culprits in line with the law, it is learnt.
