Drug Seizure: Three drug traffickers arrested in Yangon

Two Myanmar citizens and one Malaysian citizen were arrested for drug trafficking in Yangon, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

Acting on a tip-off, a combined team of the Anti-Narcotic Task Force searched a Toyota Mark X vehicle on Bo Aung Kyaw Road in Botahtaung Township on December 22nd, and discovered over 230 grams of Happy Water, 27 gram of Ketamine and 400 stimulant tablets. The interrogation led to the arrest of two more suspects in Tamwe and Dagon Myothit Seikkan Townships, along with various narcotic drugs which worth 278 million kyat.

According to the investigation, they distribute these narcotic drugs to the KTV, Bar, Club and restaurants in Yangon City. The case has been filed a lawsuit in line with the law.
