Drug Seizure: Stimulant tablets seized in PatheinGyi Township

A combined team comprising of Anti-narcotic Drug Unit seized 12.55 million stimulant tablets worth over 18.8 billion kyats in PatheinGyi Township of Mandalay Region on 21st September, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

The team confiscated these stimulant tablets while searching the 22-wheel vehicle driven by SaiHtin Lin from Thibaw to Mandalay near Htonbo Tollgate on Htonbo-MyitNge motor road in Pathein Gyi township of Mandalay region. According to the interrogation, the seized stimulant tablets were transported to Mandalay region from Shan State and the culprits are taken actions in line with the law and investigations are underway to expose those who committed the crimes.
