Drug Seizure in Pinlaung: Heroin blocks worth over 470 million kyats seized

A combined team of Aniti-Narcotic Drug Unit seized 90 blocks of heroin worth more than 470 million kyats, weighing 31.5 kilos in Pinlaung Township of Shan State (South) while searching a SURF driven by Saw Htay Oo from Pinlaung to Tatkone on Pinlaung-Tatkone motor road near Leinli village in Pinlaung Township, Shan State (South) on 30th August, according to Myanmar Police Force.

According to the interrogation, the heroin blocks  were transported to Kayin State via Shan State and action was taken against to the culprit in line with the law and investigation is underway to expose the suspects who comitted the crime.
