Drug Seizure: Over K8.9 billion kyats worth drug seized in Patheingyi

According to Myanmar Police Force, heroin and stimulant tablets worth over 8.9 billion kyats were seized in Patheingyi Township. Acting on a tip-off, a combined team comprised of Anti-Narcotic Task Force members on November 6th seized illegal drugs near Kyauk Chaw Village in Patheingyi Township.

According to interrogation, the illegal drugs were transporting to Mandalay from Naung Cho Township. Investigations are underway to take legal action under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law against those who committed criminal activities.
