Drug Seizure: Over K480 million worth Methamphetamine seized in Kengtung

Over 480 million kyat worth ICE (Methamphetamine) were seized in Kengtung Township of Shan State (East), according to Myanmar Police Force. Acting on a tip-off, a combined team of Anti-Narcotic Task Force searched a vehicle driven from MongPyin to Kengtung near Kengphaung on December 30th.

This led to the seizure of 60 kilos of ICE (Methamphetamine), hidden under the vehicle’s floor. According to interrogation, these drugs have been transported to Tachileik Township from MongPyin Township. The case has been filed a lawsuit in line with the law.
