Drug Seizure: Over K1 billion worth narcotic drugs seized in Tachileik

Over 1 billion kyats worth narcotic drugs have been seized in Tachileik Township of Shan State (East). A combined team, acting on a tip-off on January 23rd, raided a residence of Sai SweHsai and seized 2 million stimulant tablets, 23 kilos of ICE (Methamphetamine), 75 kilos of raw opium and a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

The investigation revealed that the stimulant tablets and ICE (Methamphetamine) were transported from Kun Hein of Shan State (South) while raw opium from MongPyin to Tachileik. The case has been filed a lawsuit, according to the report by Myanmar Police Force.
