Drug Seizure: Over 4.8 billion kyats worth ICE seized in Keng Tung

603 kilos of ICE (Methamphetamine) which worth more than 4.8 billion kyats were seized in Keng Tung  Township of Eastern Shan State, according to the report of Myanmar Police Force. At around 6:30 pm on July 8th, a combined team of anti-narcotics units stopped and searched the NISSAN 12 vehicle, driven by Sai Lin Oo, near KengPhaung Village on MongPyin-Keng Tung Road.

They discovered 603 kilos of Ice (Methamphetamine), covered with corn sacks. According to the investigation, the seized drugs were being transported from MongPyin to Tachilek. Action has been taken against the suspect in line with the law, and further investigations are underway for the expose of the chain offenders.
