Drug Seizure: Over 1.2 billion kyats worth stimulant drug seized in Thazi Township

In Thazi Township of Mandalay Region, the Myanmar Police Force has reported the seizure of Happy Water stimulant drugs worth over 1.2 billion kyats.

Acting on a tip-off, a combined team, including the Anti-Narcotic Unit, conducted a search on a passenger express bus near Kyawe Tatsone Village in Thazi Township on October 7th. This operation led to the discovery of 10.7 kilograms of Happy Water stimulant drugs hidden in the luggage of two passengers.

Interrogation revealed that these stimulant drugs were being transported from Shan State to the Yangon Region. A lawsuit has been filed, and an ongoing investigation is underway.
