Drug Seizure :Narcotic drugs worth K1 billion seized in Mandalay

On March 9, narcotic drugs worth 1 billion kyat were seized in PyiGyiTaKun Township, Mandalay Region.

Acting on a tip-off, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force searched a Nissan Condor truck driven by Han Win Aung, accompanied by Naing Min Htet and Soe Moe Aung, leading to the confiscation of 30.8 kg of heroin and 154,000 stimulant tablets.

Further investigation resulted in the arrests of Tin Win in PyiGyiTaKun and Thiridon and Wa Wa Soe in Minbu Township. Legal action is being taken under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law, with ongoing efforts to reveal the full network of offenders.
